I had my tubal reversal in February 2006. I had a tubal ligation after our third child but soon wanted another baby. After much research, my husband and I took a huge leap of faith and traveled to Houston for this procedure.
The support staff was very helpful in each step along the way, e.g., faxing medical records, answering questions. We flew in that morning, met with Dr. Rosenfeld and staff that afternoon for pre-op counseling and had my surgery the very next day. I felt well prepared and informed for surgery. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy.
We were able to fly home the day after surgery! I had the On-Q pump for pain control along with oral medication. This device is a lifesaver!!! I was able to move around more quickly and had excellent pain control.
We were told to wait 3 months to try to become pregnant in order for my fallopian tubes to heal. We waited the 3 months to try and conceive. On the fourth month post-surgery I become pregnant just as easily as before!!! It was amazing how easily everything happened.
In February of 2007, we welcomed our 4th child. Her name is Megan. Thank you, Dr. Rosenfeld and staff!!
